CO2 policy
No talk, just reduce CO2!
It is five past twelve! The need to take action together for a sustainable society is urgent.
We use the slogan ‘no talk, just impact’, which can also be translated as ‘no talk, just reduce CO2’. Sustainability is a necessity and also a major challenge. We have experienced this first-hand over the past year. We would like to take you through our CO2 policy.
CO2 Performance
Sustainability is a key aspect of our policy. We are proud of our certification at level 5 of the CO2 Performance Ladder. In our operations, our environmental awareness is reflected in our focused efforts to reduce CO2 emissions.
Energy reduction targets
Our CO2 emissions, mainly from fossil fuels, are monitored through the CO2 Performance Ladder. We apply clear targets for direct and indirect energy emissions. For scope 1, we aim for a 33% CO2 reduction in 2026 compared to 2021, partly through the use of electric vehicles and HVO diesel. For scope 2, our target is a 60% reduction through the purchase of green electricity. For business travel, our reduction target is 5%.
Impact in the supply chain
Our focus is on reducing emissions in transportation within our supply chain. Through a chain analysis, we have gained initial insight into these emissions and are monitoring progress toward our 10% reduction target for 2026.
See the document Chain Analysis.
