What does SDG 12 involve?
Sustainable consumption and production patterns. By sustainably managing and efficiently using natural resources, we must produce more with less. Less use of polluting energy sources and less contamination and waste of drinking water. A better distribution of food production and a halving of food waste by 2030. Production must be cleaner, and the entire supply chain must be aware of this. Towards a green lifestyle.
How does Breedweer implement this?
By creating social value for our clients. This goes beyond cleaning services. We encourage the implementation of circular business models and aim for zero waste. Our goals? Waste reduction, reuse, recycling/circularity, reduced use of raw materials, and the use of sustainable materials. At Breedweer, we turn waste such as paper and coffee grounds into panels and soap, and we involve young people (for example students at our educational clients) in our improvement processes.
