You're Exactly Who I Need
In 2013, Breedweer won the IJmond Werkt! Award for the Most Socially Responsible Company in the IJmond region.
At the time, Cerenda was working for IJmond Werkt! and that is how she met Jack Stuifbergen, who attended the event as Breedweer’s director to accept the award.
Cerenda laughs as she recalls the moment: “Jack saw me cleaning and said, ‘You’re exactly who I need.’ With the agreement of my employer at the time, I then moved to Breedweer.”

Telling My Story
Cerenda’s nickname is Breedweer’s Photo Model. If you appear in as many photos and videos as she does, you have certainly earned that title.
Recently, Cerenda spent two days at the WorkPlace Xperience in Rotterdam wearing a jumper with the words Photo Model printed on it. At this exhibition, focused on creating sustainable and healthy work environments, Cerenda and her colleagues helped make an impact.
“I really enjoyed being at the exhibition and appreciated the opportunity to share my story with visitors.
And the ride in the cherry picker, giving visitors a different perspective on the world both literally and figuratively, was a special experience for me as well.”
Continuing to Learn
Cerenda de Graaff is eager to keep developing herself.
“At Breedweer, I completed the RAS training programme and the Level 1 vocational qualification. The next step is Level 2.
And what do I do outside of work? I enjoy spending time with my daughters. Every year, I also visit my parents, who live in Curaçao. I absolutely love it there!”
