What does SDG 13 involve?
Take action to combat climate change and its impact. Global warming leads to droughts, floods, and extreme storms. In the climate agreement, it has been agreed to keep global warming below two degrees by reducing greenhouse gas emissions and replacing fossil energy sources with renewable energy.
How does Breedweer implement SDG 13?
By taking responsibility in our operations. As much as 80% of the waste streams from our services retain their circular value. We recycle our cleaning pads, paper waste, and packaging, ensuring sustainable reuse. By working efficiently with a circular cleaning wholesaler, we reduce the number of required transport movements.
At Breedweer, we use an ecological cleaning agent in powder form that is 100% biodegradable and eliminates the need for large cans or bottles. We work with refurbished cleaning carts and vacuum cleaners and use products with Cradle to Cradle Gold certification for periodic floor maintenance. Everything is aimed at reducing the impact of climate change.
