What does SDG 3 involve?
Good health and well-being for all ages. Every year, around six million children still die, mainly in developing countries, before their fifth birthday. Maternal mortality in these countries is also still far too high. These numbers must decrease. In addition, more attention is needed for research into vaccines and medicines, the prevention and treatment of drug and alcohol addiction, the reduction of road traffic deaths, and sexual and reproductive health care.
